ETHNIC DREAMER – TORY BURCH S/S13

This season’s  Tory Burch  collection is a remix of American ethnic sportswear. Showcasing shell beadings, embroideries, stones, floral patterns, weavings, pom-poms, tassels, and even hand-dyed fabrics by women artisans from the Kindia region of Guinea … all in harmony for the festive summer ethnic trends! Metal rings with hand-painted clay beads.  These hand crafted beaded mosaic clay rings is completely unique as they were individually handcrafted by male artisans in Guinea. Capture the season's sunny, optimistic mood in our wheat-printed Page Short, as worn on the spring runway. Made in a refined blend of cotton and silk, with a hint of stretch for the added comfort. This summer-ready style has a classic straight fit, single buttoned closure and pocket-free design for a clean and flattering profile. For casual occasions, pair it with a solid color, or be daring with a striped polo and sandals.  Golden waves of grain reigned supreme on the spring runway.

SHOE SPOTLIGHT

Balenciaga  Heel loafers are back in trend (love!) and here are some of my top picks for this spring: Apart from the unconventional designs and shapes, a combination of completely unrelated materials – leather, suede, plastic, metal and wood – genius and AMAZING!   The footwear meets architecture in Balenciaga’s  fall/winter collection back in 2010, including shoes designed by Pierre Hardy . These are simply a work of art, why buy art to hang on a wall when you can just wear them on your feet?! These's shoes are an absolute show-stopper! AMAZING! XO PC.
