FASHION BREAKDOWN: Lady Gaga "Disease" Music Video...

Lady Gaga released her highly-anticipated music video for “Disease”, the lead single off LG7. The music video was directed by Tanu Muino and features some looks styled by power stylist duo HARDSTYLE (Nick Royal & Peri Rosenzweig) which served up twisted fashion fantasy that was equal parts glamorous and grotesque. Hair by Frederic Aspiras, makeup by Sarah Tanno-Stewart and nails by Miho Okawara. For the opening look, we get to see Gaga in a lush black long wig and a quite innocent-looking vintage 1970s cotton floral mini dress which was sourced at Replika Vintage in LA! We meet Gaga‘s demonic alter-ego, clad in an all-black ensemble inspired by plague doctors. What many people missed is that this super complex look changed approximately 3 times in the video, with layers and accessories added and removed. She wears a black silk taffeta gown with wired constructions sticking out, and a feathered headpiece from another look – all from young French designer Charles de Vilmorin‘s Fall/W...

Happy Birthday Lucille Ball!...

Happy Birthday   Lucille Ball   who would have been 102 years old today... Lucy and Desi at Desilu Productions in 1957. Desilu was formed in 1950 and went on to produce: I Love Lucy, Star Trek, The Dick Van Dyke Show, My Three Sons, That Girl, and Hogan's Heroes, to name a few. She sold the company in 1967 to Gulf+Western; after the sale, company officials renamed it Paramount Television. Lucy was not only funny, she was smart! XO. ~PC*

“I Love Lucy” - 60th Anniversary!

It's the 60 th   anniversary of the adored “I Love Lucy” TV show. Staring the legendary Lucille Ball & Desi Arnaz, which first aired on this day (October 15th), in 1951 - The show was filmed in front of a live audience, they filmed the show with three cameras at once rather than one, which at that time was rare for sitcom TV. The director was able to call for multiple retakes for the same scene (which would have been difficult with a live audience watching). Even when the actors would mess up their lines, there most likely wasn't a retake - instead, everyone played off the mistake for extra laughs.  “I Love Lucy” was the most-watched show of its time.  This smash hit ended its successful run at the top of the ratings and ended up winning five Emmy Awards! 'FUN FACT!'... The "I Love Lucy" show is still being rerun all over the world - AND forty million people in the U.S. still watch it every year! This is one sh...
