FASHION BREAKDOWN: Lady Gaga "Disease" Music Video...

Lady Gaga released her highly-anticipated music video for “Disease”, the lead single off LG7. The music video was directed by Tanu Muino and features some looks styled by power stylist duo HARDSTYLE (Nick Royal & Peri Rosenzweig) which served up twisted fashion fantasy that was equal parts glamorous and grotesque. Hair by Frederic Aspiras, makeup by Sarah Tanno-Stewart and nails by Miho Okawara. For the opening look, we get to see Gaga in a lush black long wig and a quite innocent-looking vintage 1970s cotton floral mini dress which was sourced at Replika Vintage in LA! We meet Gaga‘s demonic alter-ego, clad in an all-black ensemble inspired by plague doctors. What many people missed is that this super complex look changed approximately 3 times in the video, with layers and accessories added and removed. She wears a black silk taffeta gown with wired constructions sticking out, and a feathered headpiece from another look – all from young French designer Charles de Vilmorin‘s Fall/W...

Dangerous in Denim...

This dangerous denim get up is a custom made piece desighned by none other than, D'Squared. These jeans PC adorns were originally made for Britney Spears for her "Dream Within A Dream" world tour back in 2001-2002. Even more so I think it's quite fantastic I can get myself into a pair of custom made pants for Brit. ;-) Here's a little history on the background of these stunners,   The encore in which these are worn began with a giant projection of a hologram of Spears onto a water screen. The projection gradually shrunk until Spears rose from the stage while wearing a plastic cowboy hat, blue hip-huggers, and a matching bra top. Which I also own in addition to these jeans.  She began performing "...Baby One More Time" in a ballad version until reaching the end of the runway. Pyrotechnics surrounded the stage while the song changed to a more uptempo version with elements of techno. Her dancers took the main stage while she returned to it...

LAUREN MOFFATT FALL 2012

As arriving to Lauren Moffatt's presentation to photograph for FutureClaw Magazine I noticed the presentation was being held in a local abandoned school. When I realized the location I was so excited to see how it would turn out. when walking up the school steps there was a sign that read "Art & Classroom" with arrows leading the guest where to go. This easily was the most inventive and creative showing of fashion week for fall 2012 in New York.  Models were arranged in two rooms, one set in a art studio and another set in a typical classroom. Known for her prints, Moffatt shows off with this collection a "schoolgirl charm" with feminine silhouettes, while keeping with a vintage vibe through a classic color palette. All the garments worked perfect with this amazing abandon school, how cool?!... Look out for Lauren Moffatt this fall!
