FASHION BREAKDOWN: Lady Gaga "Disease" Music Video...

Lady Gaga released her highly-anticipated music video for “Disease”, the lead single off LG7. The music video was directed by Tanu Muino and features some looks styled by power stylist duo HARDSTYLE (Nick Royal & Peri Rosenzweig) which served up twisted fashion fantasy that was equal parts glamorous and grotesque. Hair by Frederic Aspiras, makeup by Sarah Tanno-Stewart and nails by Miho Okawara. For the opening look, we get to see Gaga in a lush black long wig and a quite innocent-looking vintage 1970s cotton floral mini dress which was sourced at Replika Vintage in LA! We meet Gaga‘s demonic alter-ego, clad in an all-black ensemble inspired by plague doctors. What many people missed is that this super complex look changed approximately 3 times in the video, with layers and accessories added and removed. She wears a black silk taffeta gown with wired constructions sticking out, and a feathered headpiece from another look – all from young French designer Charles de Vilmorin‘s Fall/W...
It’s always interesting to see lesser-known images of Marilyn Monroe, like these of her “hiking” in what look like the hills above Hollywood (or at least somewhere in L.A.). she would have been 24 here, and how cute is the little MM embroidered on her top? quite like seeing the ever glamorous MM with sweaty armpits, too. photographed by Edward Clark for LIFE Magazine, August 1950.

Marilyn Monroe - Natural Beauty?...

Reportedly from recently released X-rays from her doctor, it's discovered Monroe underwent plastic surgery and had a chin-implant and a rhinoplasty in 1950, this was when plastic surgery was very rare ! SO basically...  Miss Monroe IS A FRAUD FOR ALL WOMEN WHO IDOLIZE HER FOR HER LOOKS AND IMAGE.... Well that image you see is FAKE! Natural beauty NOT!  This is a big disappointment for every girl who idolizes her for her iconic image and everything Marilyn Monroe stood for.

A little Piece of Movie History... Marilyn Monroe:

The infamous ivory dress that the screen icon wore in the famous subway scene for the movie The Seven Year Itch  was sold at an auction for a whopping $4.6 million! The iconic dress was auctioned off in Beverly Hills this weekend. The buyer had to pay $1 million in fees making the dress a grand total of $5.6 million! So who would sell off this piece of movie history?!?  The William Travilla  - designed pleated halter dress  was put up for sale by Hollywood legend,  Debbie Reynolds . The 79 year-old starlet is an avid collector of   actress and movie memorabilia. Other pieces sold at auction including Monroe's red  Gentlemen Prefer Blondes  dress, which sold for $1.2 million;  Audrey Hepburn 's  My Fair Lady  Ascot dress, which raked in $3.7 million; and  Judy Garland 's blue  Wizard of Oz  dress used in test shots sold for $910,000 .
