Rachel Comey - Spring/Summer 2012 Collection:

This was my first runway show ever!!! While covering NYFW for FutureCaw Magazine .   With a live drum performance from New York indie band I.U.D. playing in the background,  Rachel Comey  showcased her amazing spring/summer 2012 collection on the first day of New York Fashion Week 2011.  Full of chic and designs for the "everyday" girl, the latest Rachel Comey S/S 2012 collection takes prints to a more simple and subdue level. Bringing extremely functional and fashionable outfits, the entire line is definitely wearable. Femininity, comfort, geometric shapes, and simple prints are the main component in this collection. Mid length skirts, airy loose fitted dresses, sheer details, plaid prints, comfortable flats, slippers, loafers, straw hats and retro sunglasses, layered over corsets, Moroccan flats and mid-length hemlines reflected in the collection make some of the hottest trends for   Spring/Summer 2012. ODILON - S/S 2012 Presentation

Another designer that also stood out to me while photographing NYFW for FutureClaw Magazine is, Odilon . This collection speaks for itself... AMAZING!  Odilon is designed in Los Angeles by 25 year-old designer Stacey Clark. (above) The Los Angeles-based line was named after French post-Impressionist painter Odilon Redon.   Odilon ’s spring/summer 2012 collection had a clean and crisp palette of white, green, blue, and chartreuse.  The silhouettes were simple with color blocking that gave off a mod vibe. White nail polish and white booties completed the look. Odilon is known for its Italian textiles, leather accents, and sleek silhouettes.  Some of  Odilon clients include, Dree Hemingway, Kate Hudson, and  Kim Gordon. Photography By: Peter Curti

During the week I photographed many shows, but this collection stood out to me most of all, Hyden Yoo's collection touches on a modernized - Old Hollywood glamor feel. Which I LOVE! "The palette is comprised of a warm grey, an icy silver, melted yellow, maple, and an ashy sand with pops of color including ocean blue, hibiscus and golden root. Light fabrics can be found in the women's collection including bamboo, cotton/silk voile, and crinkled natural fibers. The men's collection uses the reliable cotton twill, sturdier canvas, and the extra soft cashmere blended yarn. Accessories are launching for the first time this season! Made of cotton canvas with veggie tan trim, styles include a small saddle bag with oversized chain, a perfect envelope iPad clutch, and a large
