FASHION BREAKDOWN: Lady Gaga "Disease" Music Video...

Lady Gaga released her highly-anticipated music video for “Disease”, the lead single off LG7. The music video was directed by Tanu Muino and features some looks styled by power stylist duo HARDSTYLE (Nick Royal & Peri Rosenzweig) which served up twisted fashion fantasy that was equal parts glamorous and grotesque. Hair by Frederic Aspiras, makeup by Sarah Tanno-Stewart and nails by Miho Okawara. For the opening look, we get to see Gaga in a lush black long wig and a quite innocent-looking vintage 1970s cotton floral mini dress which was sourced at Replika Vintage in LA! We meet Gaga‘s demonic alter-ego, clad in an all-black ensemble inspired by plague doctors. What many people missed is that this super complex look changed approximately 3 times in the video, with layers and accessories added and removed. She wears a black silk taffeta gown with wired constructions sticking out, and a feathered headpiece from another look – all from young French designer Charles de Vilmorin‘s Fall/W...

PASTELS EVERYWHERE, EVEN IN YOUR HAIR!...

One of the many trends for this spring is pastel toned colors. I have been seeing this everywhere and I LOVE it!... Not only pastel garments are in trend for this spring but also pastel color HAIR! So cool! Totally obsessed with pastel color anything, but pastel hair you would think is odd right?... But it's oddly elegant and sophisticated, in a edgy - futuristic kind of way. MAJOR STATEMENT! XO PC.

Today's Ensemble

Spring is in the air!  Beautiful day, go enjoy! T-shirt, Armni Exchange . Cashmere sweater (worn two ways), UNIQLO. Jeans, rag & bone. Sunnies, Carrera. Boots, Kenneth Cole. XO PC.

The perfect St. Patricks's Day Ensemble!

Milly  Sarah Printed Cotton Dress,   $395.   net-a-porter.com. Styled with:  Eddie Borgo bracelet ,  Oscar de la Renta bracelet ,  Christian Louboutin shoes ,  Tory Burch bag . Milly designer Michelle Smith drew inspiration from artist Sonia Delaunay's textile work for S/S12. This adorable Milly dress is a beautiful example from the collection. Tap into the runway styling and finish this piece with oversized sunnies and a side-sweiped ponytail.  This dress is PERFECTION for a St. Patty's day celebration!  CHEERS!  XO PC.

SHOE SPOTLIGHT

Balenciaga  Heel loafers are back in trend (love!) and here are some of my top picks for this spring: Apart from the unconventional designs and shapes, a combination of completely unrelated materials – leather, suede, plastic, metal and wood – genius and AMAZING!   The footwear meets architecture in Balenciaga’s  fall/winter collection back in 2010, including shoes designed by Pierre Hardy . These are simply a work of art, why buy art to hang on a wall when you can just wear them on your feet?! These's shoes are an absolute show-stopper! AMAZING! XO PC.

BLUE-BERRY BAD ASS...

Famous makeup artist Joyce Bonelli is looking OH SO FREAKiNG COOL! I love everything about this look. With her over the top & ohh so fabulous blue and white Prada sunnies, matching motorcycle jacket with gold industrial zipper detailing absolutely makes a statement! The unexpected black captain's hat with red patten leather detail is a pleasant & polished twist. Matching her lip color to the ensemble tops this AMAZE 'blue-berry bad ass' look off. OBSESSED! P.S. how cute is that phone case! XO PC.

Keep It Classy...

T.G.I.F! Have a safe & fun weekend everyone! Always keep it chic, even in the bedroom ;-) XO PC.

Play Time...

Spring is approaching us fast and just the other day we had such beautiful weather it felt like spring. While enjoying the weather and a relaxing, AC shows us how to 'play' around with with fashion for this spring. Sporting a sherbet toned pink crocheted dress (one of the hottest colors for this spring). Adding a denim button up, tied up in a cute knot giving this look a more casual feel. Sequin boat shoes gives this ensemble a pleasant and unexpected twist. The transparent sunnies are a fun and simple touch, a neutral colored scarf & striped bag tops off this fun and playful look. OBSESSED !.. Now go play! Like What you see?... Follow the Fabulous AC on Instagram: @HomeSliceOfExtraPie & Twitter . Sanctuary - Dress.  Gap - Denim Button & Sunnies. Uniqlo - Scarf. Steve Madden - White sequin boat shoes. Anthropology - Striped Bag. XO PC.

STEP IT UP!...

Only in NYC would you see this on a normal day while walking down the street... Ladies are stepping up there game with these AMAZINGLY - almost foot tall heelless, Giuseppe Zanotti masterpieces! WORK, WORK, WORK IT!  Be careful! Don't trip while crossing the street, that's a long drop down! XO  PC.

Shimmering Supermodel...

Naomi Campbell shimmering and looking flawless as always in this  Marc Jacobs ready to wear Spring/Summer 2012 collection ensemble, for an upcoming spread in V magazine.

Color me Gaga!...

Lady Gaga in New Delhi, India where she’s performing at the Formula One after-party. Lady Gaga held a press conference at the Taj Mansingh Hotel to announce her performance wearing a  Naeem Khan Resort 2012  gown. This whimsically STUNNING watercolour one-shoulder gown is a tamed down look for miss Gaga, but of corse the Lady herself has to step it up a notch by coloring her tightly wrapped bun to match her gown. AMAZING!!! Oversized black sunnies, diamond necklace, matching bracelet and black clutch completed the look.  XO PC.

Simply Divine...

Poplin   - Top. wool skirt with rose detail & crystal earrings Prada. Vintage bracelet - House of Lavande. yellow leather sling-back heeless  wedges - Giuseppe Zanotti. Jessica Alba looking absolutely divine in some of the hottest spring colors for this coming spring. Showing off her amazingly small post-baby waistline less than six months after giving birth to her second daughter  in a recent photo shoot for LA Confidential magazine.  Perfection.  XO PC.

LAUREN MOFFATT FALL 2012

As arriving to Lauren Moffatt's presentation to photograph for FutureClaw Magazine I noticed the presentation was being held in a local abandoned school. When I realized the location I was so excited to see how it would turn out. when walking up the school steps there was a sign that read "Art & Classroom" with arrows leading the guest where to go. This easily was the most inventive and creative showing of fashion week for fall 2012 in New York.  Models were arranged in two rooms, one set in a art studio and another set in a typical classroom. Known for her prints, Moffatt shows off with this collection a "schoolgirl charm" with feminine silhouettes, while keeping with a vintage vibe through a classic color palette. All the garments worked perfect with this amazing abandon school, how cool?!... Look out for Lauren Moffatt this fall!
