FASHION BREAKDOWN: Lady Gaga "Disease" Music Video...

Lady Gaga released her highly-anticipated music video for “Disease”, the lead single off LG7. The music video was directed by Tanu Muino and features some looks styled by power stylist duo HARDSTYLE (Nick Royal & Peri Rosenzweig) which served up twisted fashion fantasy that was equal parts glamorous and grotesque. Hair by Frederic Aspiras, makeup by Sarah Tanno-Stewart and nails by Miho Okawara. For the opening look, we get to see Gaga in a lush black long wig and a quite innocent-looking vintage 1970s cotton floral mini dress which was sourced at Replika Vintage in LA! We meet Gaga‘s demonic alter-ego, clad in an all-black ensemble inspired by plague doctors. What many people missed is that this super complex look changed approximately 3 times in the video, with layers and accessories added and removed. Lady Gaga goes VOGUE for September!

As was announced a couple of months ago, Lady Gaga is American Vogue’s September Girl , gracing one of the most anticipated covers of the year. This is an extremely smart move on Anna Wintour's half, as the pop sensation has proved to be one of the most profitable cover girls of the moment, always ranking on the top of Vogue's best selling issues every year. Gaga in a tamed down look (for her), looking absolutely breathtaking in a  fuchsia Marc Jacobs stunner... Victoria Beckham Launches New Optical Line:

Victoria Beckham puts a new twist on the boring old reading glasses. Beckham has now added optical frames to her fashion empire & they sure are 'posh!' After the designer launched her sunglasses two years ago, an optical collection was a smart next step. Beckham’s worldwide eyewear business spans from Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus in the U.S. to Harrods in the U.K. She partnered with Cutler & Gross on the collection that will make its debut at Silmo Paris on Oct. 4. Each style comes in three color combinations, with a palette comprised of black, tortoise, topaz, yellow and forest green. All frames are handcrafted in Italy. Combinations of metal and acetate, the tips of each pair are adorned with a detailed, diamond faceted “V.” I'd say this is absolutely POSH!  XO - PC.
