FASHION BREAKDOWN: Lady Gaga "Disease" Music Video...

Lady Gaga released her highly-anticipated music video for “Disease”, the lead single off LG7. The music video was directed by Tanu Muino and features some looks styled by power stylist duo HARDSTYLE (Nick Royal & Peri Rosenzweig) which served up twisted fashion fantasy that was equal parts glamorous and grotesque. Hair by Frederic Aspiras, makeup by Sarah Tanno-Stewart and nails by Miho Okawara. For the opening look, we get to see Gaga in a lush black long wig and a quite innocent-looking vintage 1970s cotton floral mini dress which was sourced at Replika Vintage in LA! We meet Gaga‘s demonic alter-ego, clad in an all-black ensemble inspired by plague doctors. What many people missed is that this super complex look changed approximately 3 times in the video, with layers and accessories added and removed. She wears a black silk taffeta gown with wired constructions sticking out, and a feathered headpiece from another look – all from young French designer Charles de Vilmorin‘s Fall/W...

LAMPSHADING! TREND ALERT...

Lampshading your thinking?… WTF is that? Well, it’s simply the latest and greatest style trend we have been seeing pop up EVERYWHERE!… This is more or less a trend that’s taking over, we’ll be seeing (If you haven’t already), many ‘little Ariana Grande’s running around with oversized sweaters paired with knee-high boots, Ariana is huge cereal “lampshadder”! We don’t mind this at all, WE LOVE THIS LOOK!   When you think about it, this styling is just a small twist on the ‘ole oversized top and legging standby, which is admittedly one of our most comfortable favorites. Depending on whether you pair your top/dress with a heeled or flat boot, this look can be casual enough for a day running errands, or dressy enough to wear out to a nice dinner date.  The trend has been seen all over the streets of Hollywood and the starlets like seen above in the photo. This trend carries over onto the runways this season. Super Model Bella Hadid Lampshaded while s...

AMA's Goes to Great Heights with Pink...

The Grammy winner, 38, was suspended several stories up in the air from the side of the 34-floor JW Marriott hotel in downtown L.A. as she rehearsed on Friday, November 17, and in a video posted on her Instagram account, Pink admitted she was nervous before she prepped for the daredevil stunt. “I’m just afraid I’m going to get up there and be like, ‘I don’t know if I can do this,'” the “What About Us” singer said. “I don’t care about heights, I just care about being able to actually breathe up there.” “This was a fine idea,” she quipped before she was strapped into her harness. “I feel the fear this time,” she added as she was shown rehearsing her aerial moves. “This is nothing you can prepare for.” In a video posted by ABC 7 , the singer can be seen doing choreographed moves to her music by pushing off against the hotel’s windows. “This is by far the craziest, most insane thing I’ve ever attempted to do,” Pink admitted in the video. “This is the first time tha...
It’s always interesting to see lesser-known images of Marilyn Monroe, like these of her “hiking” in what look like the hills above Hollywood (or at least somewhere in L.A.). she would have been 24 here, and how cute is the little MM embroidered on her top? quite like seeing the ever glamorous MM with sweaty armpits, too. photographed by Edward Clark for LIFE Magazine, August 1950.
